Teen Slashed By Classmate In South Kolkata School, Undergoes Surgery

A 15-year-old student in a south Kolkata school was hospitalized and underwent surgery after being attacked with a sharp object by a classmate during class on Wednesday. The victim sustained deep cuts to his neck and fingers. The school reported the incident to police, stating the accused is an autistic child. The assault reportedly stemmed from a dispute over a torn book the previous day. The injured student is now stable following surgery.
