Brain-Dead Man's Organs Save Four Lives Through Donation

A 34-year-old man declared brain-dead at KIMS Bollineni Hospital in Rajamahendravaram has given a new lease of life to four individuals through organ donation. His lungs, liver, and one kidney were transported to Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, and Hyderabad for transplantation. The family of the deceased, Mr. Sudhakar, consented to the donation as per the Jeevandan protocol, an Andhra Pradesh government initiative. Police facilitated the organ transport by creating green corridors. Another kidney was successfully transplanted into a recipient at the same hospital.

राजमहेंद्रवरम के KIMS बोलिनेनी अस्पताल में ब्रेन-डेड घोषित किए गए 34 वर्षीय व्यक्ति ने अंगदान के ज़रिए चार लोगों को नया जीवन दिया है। उनके फेफड़े, लिवर और एक किडनी को प्रत्यारोपण के लिए श्रीकाकुलम, विशाखापत्तनम और हैदराबाद ले जाया गया। मृतक श्री सुधाकर के परिवार ने आंध्र प्रदेश सरकार की पहल Jeevandan प्रोटोकॉल के अनुसार दान के लिए सहमति दी। पुलिस ने ग्रीन कॉरिडोर बनाकर अंगों के परिवहन में मदद की। उसी अस्पताल में एक और किडनी को एक मरीज़ में सफलतापूर्वक प्रत्यारोपित किया गया।
