Farmers can now use their smartphone cameras to identify crop diseases by simply photographing a leaf. Artificial intelligence, specifically computer vision and deep learning models, analyzes patterns like colour, texture, and spots on the image. These AI models are trained on thousands of labelled images to recognize visual cues associated with various plant ailments.
