MPPCB Collects Water Samples From Over A Dozen Locations To Check Pollution Post Idol Immersion
Times of India · environment
The Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board (MPPCB) has collected water samples from more than a dozen locations across Bhopal and Indore. These samples aim to assess potential contamination of water bodies following idol immersion during the recent festive season. Tests will examine changes in water quality and contamination from materials like plaster of Paris and chemical paints. The findings will help determine the impact of immersion activities on pollution levels and inform measures to protect water bodies in the future.
