Bengal to Get Strict Laws Against 'Love Jihad' and 'Land Jihad'

West Bengal Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari has announced plans to introduce stringent laws against 'Love Jihad' and 'Land Jihad' in the state. Adhikari stated that the proposed legislation would be implemented within six months if his party comes to power. पश्चिम बंगाल के नेता प्रतिपक्ष सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने राज्य में 'लव जिहाद' और 'लैंड जिहाद' के खिलाफ कड़े कानून लाने की योजना की घोषणा की है। उन्होंने यह बात कोलकाता में एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान कही, जो विश्व हिंदू परिषद के पूर्व प्रमुख अशोक सिंघल की जन्मशती के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित किया गया था। अधिकारी ने कहा कि अगर उनकी पार्टी सत्ता में आती है तो प्रस्तावित कानून छह महीने के भीतर लागू कर दिए जाएंगे। यह घोषणा अंतरधार्मिक संबंधों और भूमि संबंधी मुद्दों के संबंध में राज्य के कानूनी ढांचे में संभावित बदलाव का संकेत देती है।
