The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) have reported their most successful night in national politics, with a record number of affiliated candidates winning federal offices in the US midterm elections. DSA National Electoral Commission member Chanpreet Singh stated these are unprecedented numbers not seen in over a century of socialist electoral activity. The movement, which has grown significantly since 2016, endorses candidates who often share views on issues like the war in Gaza, universal healthcare, and immigration.
