Punjab Congress Calls AAP A Sinking Ship, Predicts More Leaders Will Quit

Hindustan Times · politics

Punjab Congress leaders Pargat Singh and Partap Singh Bajwa have sharply criticized the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), labelling it a "sinking ship" following recent defections to the BJP. They anticipate further leaders will leave the party soon, likening AAP's structure to a sand wall prone to collapse. The Congress leaders also alleged that AAP's Delhi leadership exerts undue influence over Punjab's governance, sidelining local political leadership and self-respect. They questioned the accountability of leaders switching parties without addressing Punjab's issues during their tenure.
