Outsourced and contractual employees in Dehradun have agreed to submit department-wise data on approximately 35,000 workers to the Uttarakhand government. This follows assurances that their demands for equal pay, regularisation, and job security will be addressed within seven days of receiving the information. The Sanyukt Morcha Outsource Karmachari Sangh president stated they would resume their protest on the eighth day if no action is taken. The employees are also seeking timely salaries, EPF/ESI benefits, and implementation of a Supreme Court ruling on equal pay for equal work.
