Pune Airport Conducts Annual Bomb Threat Drill To Test Security Coordination

Pune Airport recently conducted its annual Bomb Threat Mock Exercise, a crucial drill designed to assess emergency preparedness and enhance coordination among various security agencies. The exercise simulated a scenario where an unattended bag, suspected to contain a dummy Improvised Explosive Device (IED), was found in the check-in area. Security forces, including the CISF and Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, responded by evacuating the area, securing the bag, and conducting thorough checks. The drill also extended to the cargo area, testing response capabilities across the entire airport premises.

पुणे एयरपोर्ट ने हाल ही में अपना वार्षिक बम धमकी मॉक अभ्यास आयोजित किया, जो आपातकालीन तैयारी का आकलन करने और विभिन्न सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के बीच समन्वय बढ़ाने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया एक महत्वपूर्ण अभ्यास है। अभ्यास में एक ऐसे परिदृश्य का अनुकरण किया गया जहाँ चेक-इन क्षेत्र में एक लावारिस बैग मिला, जिसमें एक डमी इम्प्रोवाइज्ड एक्सप्लोसिव डिवाइस (IED) होने का संदेह था। CISF और बम का पता लगाने और निपटान दस्ते सहित सुरक्षा बलों ने क्षेत्र को खाली कराकर, बैग को सुरक्षित करके और गहन जांच करके प्रतिक्रिया दी। अभ्यास ने पूरे हवाई अड्डे के परिसर में प्रतिक्रिया क्षमताओं का परीक्षण करते हुए कार्गो क्षेत्र तक भी विस्तार किया।
