Mumbai Vice-Captain Ayush Mhatre Rested After Hamstring Niggle

Mumbai's vice-captain Ayush Mhatre has been rested from the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2026-27 match against Chandigarh due to a hamstring niggle. He did not field on Day 3 of the game at the Wankhede Stadium. Mhatre had scored 48 runs in the first innings. This is a precautionary measure after scans on Monday, with substitute Suved Parkar fielding in his place. Mhatre had previously suffered a similar injury while playing for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2026.
