Veteran Actor Nana Patekar Cremated in Pune; Son Performed Last Rites

Veteran actor Nana Patekar was cremated at his farmhouse in Donje village, Pune,. His wife, Neelkanth Patekar, and son, Malhar Patekar, performed the last rites, immersing him in the five elements. The funeral ceremony saw the chanting of "Nana Saheb Amar Rahe." Many dignitaries from politics and the film industry, including Union Minister Ramdas Athawale and Maharashtra's Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, paid their respects. Patekar, who passed away at 75 after experiencing chest pain in Goa, was airlifted to Pune after post-mortem procedures.
