Indian Firm's Drone Deal Signed 3 Months Before US Firm's Pakistan Pact

Navi Mumbai-based Paras Defence Space and Technology confirmed its licencing agreement for the Guardian-1 counter-drone interceptor with US firm Powerus Corporation was signed on June 30. This pact was finalized three months before Powerus representatives met with Pakistan military leadership and signed a separate MoU with the Pakistan army last September. Paras Defence stated its objective has always been to strengthen India's defence preparedness through technology transfer and indigenous capability building. The company emphasized its focus remains on developing India-centric defence solutions, adapting technology for the Indian defence ecosystem.

नवी मुंबई की पैरास डिफेंस स्पेस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी ने कन्फर्म किया है कि अमेरिका की पावरस कॉर्पोरेशन के साथ Guardian-1 काउंटर-ड्रोन इंटरसेप्टर के लिए लाइसेंसिंग एग्रीमेंट 30 जून को साइन हुआ था। यह डील पावरस के प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा पाकिस्तान सेना के नेतृत्व से मिलने और पिछले सितंबर में पाकिस्तान सेना के साथ एक अलग एमओयू साइन करने से तीन महीने पहले फाइनल हुई थी। पैरास डिफेंस ने कहा कि उनका मकसद हमेशा से टेक्नोलॉजी ट्रांसफर और स्वदेशी क्षमता निर्माण के जरिए भारत की रक्षा तैयारियों को मजबूत करना रहा है।
