Jaisalmer Sam Dunes Closed After Sunset; Night Safaris Banned

Jaisalmer's Sam Sand Dunes are now off-limits to tourists after sunset, with night camel safaris and other activities banned. The forest department has implemented these restrictions to protect the fragile desert ecosystem and its wildlife. Laser lights are also prohibited during nighttime cultural events in Sam and Kanoi areas. The department is cracking down on hotels and operators for waste dumping and littering, which poses a threat to the environment. Strict compliance is mandated to conserve the Desert National Park's natural habitats.

जैसलमेर के सम रेत के टीले अब सूर्यास्त के बाद पर्यटकों के लिए बंद रहेंगे, और रात के ऊंट सफारी व अन्य गतिविधियों पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया गया है। वन विभाग ने नाजुक रेगिस्तानी पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र और वन्यजीवों की सुरक्षा के लिए ये प्रतिबंध लागू किए हैं। सम और कानोई क्षेत्रों में रात के सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों के दौरान लेजर लाइटों पर भी रोक लगा दी गई है। विभाग कचरा फेंकने और गंदगी फैलाने के लिए होटलों और संचालकों पर कार्रवाई कर रहा है, जो पर्यावरण के लिए खतरा है। डेजर्ट नेशनल पार्क के प्राकृतिक आवासों को संरक्षित करने के लिए सख्त अनुपालन अनिवार्य है।
