UP Chief Secretary Orders Drug Crackdown on Supply

Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary SP Goyal has ordered intensified action against drug trafficking networks, focusing on sources and supply chains. He chaired a meeting reviewing narcotics control, de-addiction, and drug disposal efforts. District committees are to hold regular meetings and maintain surveillance in identified hotspots. Special de-addiction and awareness campaigns are planned for schools and colleges. Strict enforcement against transportation and illegal trade of narcotics was emphasized, along with monitoring precursor chemicals.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्य सचिव एसपी गोयल ने नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी के नेटवर्क के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई का आदेश दिया है। उन्होंने इसके स्रोत और सप्लाई चेन पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने को कहा है। एक बैठक में उन्होंने नशीले पदार्थों पर नियंत्रण, नशामुक्ति और उनके निपटान के प्रयासों की समीक्षा की। जिलों में बनी कमेटियों को नियमित बैठकें करनी होंगी और हॉटस्पॉट पर नजर रखनी होगी। स्कूलों और कॉलेजों में नशामुक्ति और जागरूकता अभियान चलाए जाएंगे।
