ISRO Launches Next-Gen NVS-03 Satellite To Augment NavIC System

NDTV · science

ISRO has successfully launched the NVS-03, the third satellite in the second-generation NVS series. This advanced satellite is designed to enhance the Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) system. NavIC is India's own regional navigation satellite system, providing accurate positioning services. The successful deployment of NVS-03 is crucial for strengthening India's independent navigation capabilities and ensuring its self-reliance in satellite-based services. This launch marks a significant step in bolstering India's space technology infrastructure.
