Hazaribag Civic Body Plans Three-Wheelers With Fogging Machines For Narrow Lanes

Hazaribag Municipal Corporation plans to deploy nine three-wheelers equipped with portable fogging machines across its 36 wards. These vehicles will target narrow lanes and residential areas inaccessible to larger machines, addressing concerns over inadequate and irregular fogging. With over 5 lakh residents and only three existing machines, the new initiative aims to improve mosquito control, especially after recent wet spells created breeding conditions. The civic body is also procuring lime and bleaching powder for Durga Puja pandals and deploying sanitation workers for the festive season.

हज़ारीबाग नगर निगम अपने 36 वार्डों में पोर्टेबल फॉगिंग मशीनों से लैस नौ तीन-पहिया वाहनों को तैनात करने की योजना बना रहा है। ये वाहन संकरी गलियों और उन आवासीय क्षेत्रों को निशाना बनाएंगे जहाँ बड़े मशीनें नहीं पहुँच सकतीं, जिससे अपर्याप्त और अनियमित फॉगिंग की चिंताओं का समाधान होगा। 5 लाख से अधिक निवासियों और केवल तीन मौजूदा मशीनों के साथ, इस नई पहल का उद्देश्य मच्छरों पर नियंत्रण में सुधार करना है, खासकर हाल की गीली अवधि के बाद जहाँ मच्छरों के पनपने की स्थितियाँ बनी हैं। नगर निगम दुर्गा पूजा पंडालों के लिए चूना और ब्लीचिंग पाउडर की खरीद भी कर रहा है और त्योहारी सीज़न के लिए सफाई कर्मचारियों को तैनात कर रहा है।
