YouTuber Thoppi Charged Over Alleged Obscene Content Publication

Ernakulam rural cyber police in Kochi have filed a chargesheet against controversial YouTuber Mohammad Nihad, known as Thoppi. The case stems from allegations of publishing obscene material online, including sharing nude images of former friends following a dispute. The police took action after preliminary inquiries found the offences occurred within their jurisdiction, leading to the takedown of Thoppi's YouTube channel. Nihad had previously secured anticipatory bail in connection with the case.

कोच्चि में एर्नाकुलम ग्रामीण साइबर पुलिस ने विवादास्पद यूट्यूबर मोहम्मद निहाद, जिन्हें थॉप्पी के नाम से जाना जाता है, के खिलाफ चार्जशीट दायर की है। यह मामला ऑनलाइन अश्लील सामग्री प्रकाशित करने के आरोपों से जुड़ा है, जिसमें एक विवाद के बाद पूर्व दोस्तों की नग्न तस्वीरें साझा करना भी शामिल है। पुलिस ने प्रारंभिक जांच में पाया कि अपराध उनके अधिकार क्षेत्र में हुआ था, जिसके बाद थॉप्पी के यूट्यूब चैनल को बंद कर दिया गया। निहाद ने पहले इस मामले में अग्रिम जमानत ले ली थी।
