Crows Make Decisions Twice As Fast As Humans, Study Finds

NDTV · science

New research indicates that crows possess a remarkable cognitive ability, making quick choices at a rate double that of humans. Scientists theorize this rapid decision-making evolved to aid crows in navigating swiftly during flight and for the immediate identification of food sources. This advanced processing power allows them to react instantaneously to their environment, a crucial adaptation for survival in the wild. The findings highlight the sophisticated intelligence present in avian species.
