BJP Accuses Annamalai of Double Standards on Electoral Roll Revision

Former BJP leader K Annamalai has been accused of double standards by the party regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Annamalai recently criticized the Centre's response to protests against the SIR and the detention of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) activists. However, the BJP claims he previously defended the electoral roll revision exercise. Annamalai stated that while he disagreed with CJP's tactics, he supported their right to question the electoral process. Tamil Nadu BJP spokesperson Narayanan Thirupathy countered Annamalai, urging him to understand law and order maintenance.
