Pragyan Ojha Appointed Chief Selector; Ramesh Powar Joins Panel

The BCCI has appointed former India spinner Pragyan Ojha as the chairman of its men's senior selection committee, succeeding Ajit Agarkar. Ojha's appointment is based on seniority, determined by the number of Test matches played. Former off-spinner Ramesh Powar has also been named a new member of the panel, selected after interviews with several other former cricketers. The five-member committee, with the addition of Powar's extensive coaching experience, will now be responsible for selecting India's men's cricket teams across all formats.

प्रज्ञान ओझा बने मुख्य चयनकर्ता रमेश पवार पैनल में शामिल

BCCI ने पूर्व भारतीय स्पिनर प्रज्ञान ओझा को अजीत अगरकर की जगह पुरुष सीनियर चयन समिति का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है। ओझा की नियुक्ति टेस्ट मैचों की संख्या के आधार पर वरिष्ठता के अनुसार की गई है। पूर्व ऑफ-स्पिनर रमेश पवार को भी पैनल का नया सदस्य बनाया गया है, जिनका चयन कई अन्य पूर्व क्रिकेटरों के साथ इंटरव्यू के बाद हुआ है। पवार के व्यापक कोचिंग अनुभव के साथ पांच सदस्यीय समिति अब सभी फॉर्मेट में भारत की पुरुष क्रिकेट टीमों के चयन के लिए जिम्मेदार होगी।
