19 Die After Consuming Suspected Spurious Liquor

At least 19 people have died in Nagaland after allegedly consuming spurious liquor, with Mokokchung district reporting eight deaths and Tuensang district 11 over the past two days. Police have formed a Special Investigation Team to trace the supply chain of the suspected adulterated liquor. Samples have been sent for forensic examination. Following the deaths, police conducted raids, arresting 19 people and seizing nearly 3,000 bottles of liquor. Authorities are advising citizens to avoid unidentified liquor and seek immediate medical attention if symptoms arise.

नागालैंड में नकली शराब पीने से कम से कम 19 लोगों की मौत हो गई है। पिछले दो दिनों में मोकोकचुंग जिले में आठ और तुएनसांग जिले में 11 लोगों की जान गई। पुलिस ने नकली शराब की सप्लाई चेन का पता लगाने के लिए एक स्पेशल इन्वेस्टिगेशन टीम बनाई है। शराब के सैंपल जांच के लिए भेजे गए हैं। पुलिस ने छापेमारी कर 19 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है और करीब 3,000 बोतलें जब्त की हैं। लोगों को अनजान शराब से बचने और लक्षण दिखने पर तुरंत डॉक्टर से संपर्क करने की सलाह दी गई है।
