ED Arrests Ozone Urbana Promoter S Vasudevan in Rs 927 Crore Homebuyer Fraud Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested S Vasudevan, promoter of Ozone Urbana Infra Developers, in connection with an alleged Rs 927.22 crore homebuyer fraud case. Vasudevan was arrested on September 30 and produced before a special court in Bengaluru, which granted the agency 14 days' custody. The ED alleges that the company failed to deliver apartments despite receiving money from customers, retaining and diverting funds. Investigations were initiated following multiple FIRs registered against the company and its promoters for defrauding homebuyers.

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने ओज़ोन उर्बाना इन्फ्रा डेवलपर्स के प्रमोटर एस वासुदेवन को कथित 927.22 करोड़ रुपये के होमबायर धोखाधड़ी मामले में गिरफ्तार किया है। वासुदेवन को 30 सितंबर को गिरफ्तार किया गया था और बेंगलुरु की एक विशेष अदालत में पेश किया गया, जिसने एजेंसी को 14 दिन की हिरासत दी। ED का आरोप है कि कंपनी ने ग्राहकों से पैसे लेने के बावजूद फ्लैट देने में नाकाम रही और फंड को अपने पास रखा व दूसरी जगह लगा दिया। कंपनी और उसके प्रमोटरों के खिलाफ होमबायर से धोखाधड़ी करने के आरोप में कई FIR दर्ज होने के बाद जांच शुरू की गई थी।
