Delhi Police Bars CJP Founder From Holding Protest At Connaught Place

Delhi Police has prohibited CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke from organizing any demonstrations in Connaught Place, citing public safety and the rights of traders and citizens. The police stated that Connaught Place is not a designated protest site and that unauthorized gatherings could critically imperil public order. Dipke had announced a Tiranga event for October 16, which police warned could disrupt traffic and negatively impact businesses. The area houses numerous establishments, and disruptions during peak hours affect the livelihood of over 15 lakh traders and employees.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने CJP संस्थापक अभिजीत दीपके को कनॉट प्लेस में किसी भी तरह के प्रदर्शन का आयोजन करने से मना कर दिया है। पुलिस ने कहा कि यह सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा और व्यापारियों व नागरिकों के अधिकारों के लिए ज़रूरी है। पुलिस ने बताया कि कनॉट प्लेस विरोध प्रदर्शन के लिए तय जगह नहीं है और अनधिकृत जमावड़े से सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था गंभीर रूप से खतरे में पड़ सकती है। दीपके ने 16 अक्टूबर के लिए एक तिरंगा कार्यक्रम की घोषणा की थी, जिसे लेकर पुलिस ने आगाह किया कि इससे यातायात बाधित हो सकता है और व्यवसायों पर बुरा असर पड़ सकता है।
