India Rejects Pakistan Polls In PoK

India has strongly rejected Pakistan's recent elections held in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), terming them a 'cosmetic exercise' to camouflage an illegal occupation. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated that these polls do not confer any legitimacy on Pakistan's claims or its occupation. India maintains that the entire territory of Jammu and Kashmir is, and always shall be, an integral part of India.

भारत ने पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाले कश्मीर (PoK) में हुए हालिया चुनावों को सिरे से खारिज कर दिया है। भारत सरकार ने इसे अवैध कब्जे को छिपाने का एक 'दिखावटी प्रयास' बताया है। विदेश मंत्रालय ने कहा कि इन चुनावों से पाकिस्तान के दावों या उसके कब्जे को कोई वैधता नहीं मिलती। भारत का कहना है कि जम्मू और कश्मीर का पूरा इलाका हमेशा से भारत का अभिन्न अंग रहा है और रहेगा।
