Kerala to Receive Light to Heavy Rain Till Sunday Due to Bay of Bengal Systems

Kerala is expected to experience light to heavy rainfall until Sunday, with very heavy rain possible on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. The India Meteorological Department has issued orange warnings for Kozhikode, Malappuram, Thrissur, and Ernakulam on Thursday, with other districts on yellow alert. Similar alerts continue for Friday, while Saturday and Sunday see orange warnings for specific northern and central districts. Isolated places may also witness thunderstorms accompanied by rain and strong winds throughout the period.

केरल में रविवार तक हल्की से भारी बारिश होने की उम्मीद है, जिसमें गुरुवार, शुक्रवार और रविवार को बहुत भारी बारिश की संभावना है। भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने गुरुवार को कोझिकोड, मलप्पुरम, त्रिशूर और एर्नाकुलम के लिए ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया है, जबकि अन्य जिलों के लिए येलो अलर्ट है। शुक्रवार के लिए भी इसी तरह के अलर्ट जारी हैं, जबकि शनिवार और रविवार को कुछ उत्तरी और मध्य जिलों के लिए ऑरेंज अलर्ट देखा जाएगा। इस अवधि के दौरान अलग-अलग स्थानों पर गरज के साथ बारिश और तेज हवाएं चलने की भी संभावना है।
