Serbia: Tens of Thousands Rally Ahead of Snap Elections

Over one hundred thousand Serbians rallied in Belgrade on Thursday, supporting the youth movement ahead of snap elections. The protest movement, initially sparked by demands for an investigation into a 2024 incident that killed 16 people, has grown into calls for early elections. The Student List, backed by university students, is challenging populist leader Aleksandar Vucic, who has dominated Serbian politics for over a decade. The rally's attendees expressed optimism for change and a return to a normal country.
