Delhi Court Grants Bail To Man Accused Of Deceiving Woman Into Sexual Relationship

A Delhi court has granted bail to a married man accused of deceiving a woman into a sexual relationship on a false promise of marriage. The court noted that the accused had joined the investigation before his arrest and that custodial interrogation was not required. The man was arrested on September 16 under BNS Section 69 at Kirti Nagar police station. The defence argued the relationship was consensual and the complainant knew he was married. The court directed the man to furnish a personal bond of ₹25,000 with one surety.

दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने शादी के झूठे वादे पर एक महिला को यौन संबंध में फंसाने के आरोपी एक विवाहित व्यक्ति को जमानत दे दी है। अदालत ने कहा कि आरोपी ने गिरफ्तारी से पहले जांच में सहयोग किया था और उसे हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ की जरूरत नहीं थी। उस व्यक्ति को 16 सितंबर को कीर्ति नगर पुलिस स्टेशन में BNS की धारा 69 के तहत गिरफ्तार किया गया था। बचाव पक्ष ने तर्क दिया कि रिश्ता आपसी सहमति से था और शिकायतकर्ता को पता था कि वह शादीशुदा है। अदालत ने उस व्यक्ति को एक जमानतदार के साथ ₹25,000 का व्यक्तिगत मुचलका भरने का निर्देश दिया।
