Delhi Court Issues Bailable Warrants Against YouTuber Dhruv Rathee

A Delhi court has issued bailable warrants against YouTuber Dhruv Rathee in a 2018 defamation case. The warrants were issued after a process server reported that Rathee's house was locked when attempting to serve a summons. The case was filed by Vikas Pandey, a BJP IT Cell member, who accused Rathee of defamation over a video. The court noted that Rathee ordinarily resides in Austria and had recently been in India. The matter has been listed for further proceedings on October 31.

दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने 2018 के मानहानि मामले में यूट्यूबर ध्रुव राठी के खिलाफ जमानती वारंट जारी किए हैं। समन तामील करने की कोशिश के दौरान राठी का घर बंद मिलने पर एक प्रोसेस सर्वर की रिपोर्ट के बाद वारंट जारी किए गए। यह मामला बीजेपी आईटी सेल के सदस्य विकास पांडे ने राठी पर एक वीडियो को लेकर मानहानि का आरोप लगाते हुए दायर किया था। अदालत ने कहा कि राठी आमतौर पर ऑस्ट्रिया में रहते हैं और हाल ही में भारत में थे। मामले की अगली सुनवाई 31 अक्टूबर को होगी।
