मेईटीवाई (MeitY) और ड्रोन फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया ने छात्रों के लिए स्वायत्त ड्रोन बनाने का एक राष्ट्रीय चैलेंज, निडर 2.0 (NIDAR 2.0) लॉन्च किया है। इस पहल का लक्ष्य भारत के VEGA प्रोसेसर पर आधारित स्वदेशी फ्लाइट कंट्रोलर बनाना है। यह कार्यक्रम ड्रोन तकनीक में नवाचार को बढ़ावा देगा और विदेशी पुर्जों पर निर्भरता कम करेगा, जिससे ड्रोन क्षेत्र में भारत की आत्मनिर्भरता बढ़ेगी और स्थानीय चिप निर्माण को प्रोत्साहन मिलेगा।
