ED Takes IAS Officer, Intermediary in KPSC Scam

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar and alleged intermediary Basavaraj Kannale into custody for questioning in the KPSC recruitment scam probe. Both were already in judicial custody. The ED seeks to investigate suspected financial transactions linked to the alleged irregularities during Gangwar's tenure as Controller of Examinations. Kannale allegedly facilitated dealings and spent lakhs on Gangwar's travel.

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने KPSC भर्ती घोटाले की जांच में IAS अधिकारी ज्ञानेंद्र कुमार गंगवार और कथित बिचौलिए बसवराज कन्नाले को पूछताछ के लिए हिरासत में लिया है। दोनों पहले से ही न्यायिक हिरासत में थे। ED गंगवार के परीक्षा नियंत्रक रहते हुए कथित अनियमितताओं से जुड़े वित्तीय लेनदेन की जांच करना चाहती है। कन्नाले पर गंगवार की यात्राओं पर लाखों खर्च करके सौदे कराने का आरोप है।
