Dhanush's film 'Om: Chapter 1' has been postponed to avert a box-office clash with Rajinikanth's 'Jailer 2'. Initially set for release on October 16, a day after 'Jailer 2' on October 15, the makers of 'Om' decided to delay the release out of respect for Rajinikanth. Dhanush also stated that 'Om' will not release during Diwali, respecting Suriya's film announcement for the same period.
