MP Demands Pushback Seats For Pallavan, Vaigai Trains

Trichy MP Durai Vaiko has urged Southern Railway to introduce second sitting (2S) coaches with pushback reclining seats on the Pallavan and Vaigai superfast Express trains. He stated that the current fixed seating arrangement offers limited comfort for passengers on long journeys. Vaiko cited the recent upgrade of coaches to include pushback seats on the Thiruvananthapuram-Kannur Jan Shatabdi Express as a precedent. Additionally, he requested augmenting three coaches to the Trichy-Rameswaram Express and operating special trains from Trichy and Pudukottai stations during Diwali.
