Commercial LPG cylinder prices have increased for the third consecutive month across India's major cities, just ahead of the Diwali festival. Prices saw hikes ranging from ₹10 to ₹17 per cylinder in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai. Kolkata experienced the steepest rise. This price increase could lead to more expensive food items at restaurants and sweet shops. Meanwhile, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged, with their last revision in June.

दिवाली के त्योहार से ठीक पहले देश के बड़े शहरों में व्यावसायिक एलपीजी सिलेंडर की कीमतें लगातार तीसरे महीने बढ़ गई हैं। दिल्ली, कोलकाता, मुंबई और चेन्नई में प्रति सिलेंडर ₹10 से ₹17 तक की बढ़ोतरी देखी गई। कोलकाता में सबसे ज्यादा वृद्धि हुई। इस मूल्य वृद्धि से रेस्तरां और मिठाई की दुकानों में खाने-पीने की चीजें महंगी हो सकती हैं। वहीं, घरेलू एलपीजी सिलेंडर की कीमतें अपरिवर्तित हैं, जिनमें आखिरी बार जून में संशोधन हुआ था।
