Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has accused "foreign hands" of orchestrating the escalating student-led protests demanding his resignation. Riot police clashed with demonstrators for the fourth consecutive day in Tirana, as thousands protested government corruption and poor university conditions. The protests, initially sparked by a coastal development deal, have spread to other cities and involved vandalism of government buildings and banks. Rama rejected calls to resign, stating his responsibility is to address concerns and advance Albania's EU membership bid.
