LPU Violence: University Mulls Action Against Erring Students, Forms Disciplinary Board

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is considering disciplinary action against students involved in violence and arson on campus on September 26. The university has identified nearly 100 students involved in vandalism and looting. A special disciplinary board has been formed to review the incident and take punitive measures, including suspension or rustication. Classes are set to resume on Monday after a 10-day closure. Police have registered criminal cases and arrested 17 individuals, including 15 students, for vandalizing property and damaging vehicles.
