Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla stated that differences in opinions and perspectives are natural in a democracy, emphasizing that dissent must be respected. He highlighted that dissent provides direction, offers vision, and inspires people to work towards collective progress. Addressing the Janpratinidhi Sammelan in Panchkula, Birla also noted that while running the government is a responsibility, public service is an even greater one. The event was organized by the Haryana Legislative Assembly as part of the Constitution Fortnight.

लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिड़ला ने कहा कि लोकतंत्र में विचारों और दृष्टिकोणों में अंतर होना स्वाभाविक है, और असहमति का सम्मान किया जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि असहमति दिशा प्रदान करती है, दृष्टि देती है और लोगों को सामूहिक प्रगति की दिशा में काम करने के लिए प्रेरित करती है। पंचकुला में जनप्रतिधि सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए, बिड़ला ने यह भी कहा कि सरकार चलाना एक ज़िम्मेदारी है, लेकिन जनसेवा उससे भी बड़ी ज़िम्मेदारी है। यह कार्यक्रम संविधान पखवाड़े के तहत हरियाणा विधानसभा द्वारा आयोजित किया गया था।
