A man named Subhadra from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, has demonstrated that strong intentions, not large funds, are needed to contest elections. He decided to contest local body elections as an independent candidate and needed money for his nomination. Subhadra collected one-rupee coins from villagers, gathering a total of Rs 6,000. He then submitted his nomination papers using these coins, setting an example in an era where significant money is often spent on elections. The incident has garnered widespread attention and a video of the event has also surfaced.
