Dr. Mohana Rao Patibandla, founder and chief neurosurgeon of Dr. Rao’s Hospital in Guntur, presented his research on complex craniovertebral junction surgery at the Society of British Neurological Surgeons centenary meeting in London. The international scientific meeting took place from October 12 to 16. Dr. Patibandla’s presentation focused on a minimally invasive endoscopic approach for patients with persistent compression after previous surgery. His research analysed six complex cases, emphasizing individualized surgical planning and outcomes, contributing to global discussions on advanced neurosurgical techniques.
