Delhi Metro Curbs, Trains Cancelled Amid CJP Protest Plans

Delhi is preparing for potential disruptions as the Delhi Police have rejected permission for a protest by the CJP. The decision was made because the mandatory 10-day advance notice for the demonstration was not provided. Authorities have implemented metro service restrictions and cancelled several trains to manage the situation. Approximately 23,000 police personnel have been deployed across the city to maintain law and order. The police cited the lack of proper intimation as the primary reason for denying permission for the planned protest.
