Covid Job Loss Leads To 50-State Lawn Mowing

Brian Schwartz lost his job in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. He started a nonprofit, "I Want To Mow Your Lawn," to help neighbours and veterans with yard work. The organization now connects over 2,000 volunteers across all 50 US states with people needing temporary lawn care. It has facilitated over 3,000 service visits and helped more than 630 households. The service is free, relying on volunteers and optional donations.
