Over 500 women participated in a breast cancer awareness walkathon in Lucknow, organized by the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences. The event featured a vibrant display of pink attire as participants marched from the 1090 Women Power Line intersection. A vintage car rally, themed ‘Drive the Message Through Lucknow,’ also added to the occasion, showcasing classic vehicles. Experts emphasized that breast cancer is the most prevalent cancer among Indian women and stressed the importance of early detection.

लखनऊ में संजय गांधी पोस्टग्रेजुएट इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल साइंसेज द्वारा आयोजित ब्रेस्ट कैंसर जागरूकता वॉकथॉन में 500 से अधिक महिलाओं ने भाग लिया। इस कार्यक्रम में 1090 वूमेन पावर लाइन चौराहे से मार्च करने वाली प्रतिभागियों ने गुलाबी पोशाकों का एक जीवंत प्रदर्शन किया। 'ड्राइव द मैसेज थ्रू लखनऊ' थीम वाली एक विंटेज कार रैली ने भी क्लासिक वाहनों का प्रदर्शन करते हुए अवसर को और बढ़ाया। विशेषज्ञों ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि ब्रेस्ट कैंसर भारतीय महिलाओं में सबसे आम कैंसर है और शुरुआती पहचान के महत्व पर बल दिया।
