Madras HC Refuses To Quash FIRs Against Ponraj

The Madras High Court has refused to quash the First Information Reports (FIRs) filed against political commentator Ponraj. The court stated that individuals of standing should exercise greater restraint in public statements. Justice G.K. Ilanthiraiyan made these observations while hearing a petition challenging the FIRs.
