Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is supporting 'Little Thomas', an independent children's film, highlighting the struggles diverse cinema faces in Bollywood. He notes a current industry trend favouring patriotic and devotional films, citing recent successes like 'Dhurandhar' and 'Hanuman Ansh'. Kashyap argues this genre dominance makes it difficult for other types of films, including children's stories, to get greenlit and noticed. He believes this climate, however, still leaves room for unique slice-of-life movies to find an audience. 'Little Thomas' is set to release on October 23.

फिल्म निर्माता अनुराग कश्यप 'लिटिल थॉमस' नाम की एक स्वतंत्र बच्चों की फिल्म का समर्थन कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि बॉलीवुड में विविध सिनेमा को किन मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ता है। कश्यप ने कहा कि आजकल इंडस्ट्री में देशभक्ति और भक्ति वाली फिल्मों का चलन बढ़ रहा है, जैसे हाल ही में 'धुरंधर' और 'हनुमान अंश' जैसी फिल्में सफल हुई हैं। कश्यप का मानना है कि इस तरह की फिल्मों के दबदबे के कारण दूसरी तरह की फिल्मों, जिनमें बच्चों की कहानियां भी शामिल हैं, को बनाना और पहचान दिलाना मुश्किल हो जाता है। हालांकि, उनका यह भी मानना है कि ऐसे माहौल में भी अनोखी 'स्लाइस-ऑफ-लाइफ' फिल्मों के लिए दर्शक मिल सकते हैं।
