Meerut Court to Deliver Verdict in Blue Drum

A district court in Meerut will pronounce its verdict today, in the sensational Blue Drum murder case. The court will first decide on the guilt of the accused, Muskan and Sahil, in the murder of merchant navy officer Saurabh Rajput. If found guilty, the court will then hear arguments on sentencing. The prosecution has sought the death penalty, presenting evidence of alleged preparations for the murder and disposal of the body, including the purchase of drugs, a knife, a blue drum, cement, and sand.

मेरठ की जिला अदालत आज बहुचर्चित ब्लू ड्रम हत्या मामले में अपना फैसला सुनाएगी। अदालत पहले नौसैनिक अधिकारी सौरभ राजपूत की हत्या में आरोपी मुस्कान और साहिल की संलिप्तता पर फैसला करेगी। यदि दोषी पाया गया, तो अदालत सजा पर दलीलें सुनेगी। अभियोजन पक्ष ने मौत की सजा की मांग की है, जिसमें कथित तौर पर हत्या की तैयारी और शव को ठिकाने लगाने के सबूत पेश किए गए हैं, जिसमें ड्रग्स, एक चाकू, एक नीला ड्रम, सीमेंट और रेत की खरीद शामिल है।
