Indian Coast Guard Seizes ₹3,000 Crore Drugs, Apprehends 5 Pakistani Nationals

The Indian Coast Guard, in a joint operation with Gujarat's Anti-Terrorism Squad, seized approximately 526 kg of narcotics valued at over ₹3,000 crore. The seizure occurred after intercepting an Iranian dhow in the Arabian Sea, west of Lakshadweep. Five Pakistani nationals operating the dhow were apprehended during the operation. The operation, conducted on September 25, aimed to disrupt transnational narco-terrorism networks and prevent illicit drugs from reaching India. The seized contraband included heroin and methamphetamine, and the vessel, crew, and drugs were escorted to Mumbai for further investigation.

भारतीय तटरक्षक बल ने गुजरात के आतंकवाद निरोधक दस्ते के साथ मिलकर एक संयुक्त अभियान में लगभग 526 किलोग्राम नशीले पदार्थ जब्त किए हैं, जिनकी कीमत ₹3,000 करोड़ से अधिक है। यह जब्त लक्षद्वीप के पश्चिम में अरब सागर में एक ईरानी नाव को रोके जाने के बाद हुई। अभियान के दौरान नाव चला रहे पांच पाकिस्तानी नागरिकों को पकड़ा गया। 25 सितंबर को किए गए इस अभियान का उद्देश्य अंतरराष्ट्रीय नशीले पदार्थों के आतंकवाद नेटवर्क को बाधित करना और भारत में अवैध ड्रग्स को पहुंचने से रोकना था। जब्त की गई सामग्री में हेरोइन और मेथामफेटामाइन शामिल थे, और नाव, चालक दल और ड्रग्स को आगे की जांच के लिए मुंबई ले जाया गया।
