Frequent delays of the Guruvayur–Ernakulam Passenger train are severely disrupting the daily lives of hundreds of commuters in Kochi. The train was reportedly still at Puthukad station at 9:15 am on Friday, long after its scheduled arrival in Ernakulam. The Guruvayur Passenger Friends Association condemned the railway authorities for their alleged callous disregard for passengers' time, jobs, and livelihoods. They are demanding immediate action to ensure punctuality and better communication regarding real-time delays.

गुरुवायूर-एर्नाकुलम पैसेंजर ट्रेन में बार-बार हो रही देरी से कोच्चि में सैकड़ों यात्रियों का रोज़मर्रा का जीवन बुरी तरह प्रभावित हो रहा है। शुक्रवार को सुबह 9:15 बजे भी ट्रेन पुथुकड स्टेशन पर ही थी, जो एर्नाकुलम में उसके तय समय से काफी बाद का वक्त था। गुरुवायूर पैसेंजर फ्रेंड्स एसोसिएशन ने रेलवे अधिकारियों की यात्रियों के समय, नौकरियों और आजीविका के प्रति कथित लापरवाही की निंदा की है। वे समय की पाबंदी सुनिश्चित करने और देरी की वास्तविक जानकारी के लिए तत्काल कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहे हैं।
