10-ft Crocodile Rescued From Odisha Village Pond

A 10-foot-long male saltwater crocodile was rescued from a pond in Bagagahana village, Kendrapada district, on Wednesday. A six-member forest team captured the reptile after a four-hour struggle. The crocodile was subsequently released into the Patasala river, which flows within the Bhitarkanika National Park. This operation highlights the ongoing efforts to manage human-wildlife interactions in areas bordering protected natural habitats.
