Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty experienced a significant drop in early trade on Monday. The 30-share BSE Sensex plunged 730 points to 73,170.12, while the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 231.50 points to 22,908.95. This decline was driven by surging crude oil prices, geopolitical uncertainties, and weak Asian market trends. Foreign fund outflows also negatively impacted investor sentiment, with FIIs offloading equities worth ₹3,693.93 crore on Friday.

सोमवार को शुरुआती कारोबार में भारतीय बेंचमार्क सूचकांक सेंसेक्स और निफ्टी में भारी गिरावट आई। 30-शेयर बीएसई सेंसेक्स 730 अंक गिरकर 73,170.12 पर आ गया, जबकि 50-शेयर एनएसई निफ्टी 231.50 अंक गिरकर 22,908.95 पर आ गया। यह गिरावट कच्चे तेल की बढ़ती कीमतों, भू-राजनीतिक अनिश्चितताओं और एशियाई बाजारों के कमजोर रुझानों के कारण हुई। विदेशी फंड के बहिर्वाह ने भी निवेशक की भावना को नकारात्मक रूप से प्रभावित किया, जिसमें एफआईआई ने शुक्रवार को ₹3,693.93 करोड़ की इक्विटी बेची।
