Mukesh Khanna Criticises Ranbir Kapoor's Portrayal of Lord Ram in 'Ramayana' Teaser

Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna has expressed strong disapproval of the depiction of Lord Ram in the upcoming film 'Ramayana'. He stated that the character should not be shown as physically aggressive, as it contradicts the image of Ram as 'Maryada Purushottam'. Khanna pointed to the teaser where Ranbir Kapoor appeared as an action hero, arguing that such a portrayal goes against religious faith. He also questioned why Hindu figures are often depicted this way in films, suggesting Hindus are a 'soft target'.
