Times of India · world

Saudi Arabia's coalition forces claimed on Thursday to have intercepted and destroyed a cruise missile heading towards the Medina region. Coalition spokesperson Major General Turki al-Maliki announced the interception on social media. However, Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree denied launching any strikes towards Medina, calling the Saudi claim a falsehood. This incident occurs amid ongoing airstrikes between the Houthis and the coalition, with both sides targeting airport infrastructure. The coalition has previously accused Iran-aligned Houthis of targeting holy cities.
